Sicilian sweets   

Oil on canvas Painted 2005 30 x 40cm I painted this for an exhibition at the Francis Kyle gallery based on the book 'The Leopard' which is set in Sicily. The iced biscuits are called Dolcini di Erice and the honey glazed sweets are called Pignolata.
