I painted two versions of this view about a week apart. The first one sold before I had even finished painting it. A couple walked past with their grandchildren and stopped to look as I worked. An hour later he returned saying that his wife would like the painting as her birthday present. It shows the local viewpoint above the town of Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire.
