3 Tuesday 15th November 2011 1.15pm Cold and windy when I got here. Mist in the valley drifting out with the sun beginning to shine through. By the time I finished it was a glorious sunny day. First cold day, we have had very mild weather for the time of year, many herbaceous plants in the garden still unaffected by frost. Had to wrap up with many layers to paint and wear gloves and hat. Bitter wind to start with but died down as the sun came out.
