Sun just up but a large grey cloud across the valley drifting this way. Rain?

As I got near my painting site a pair of green woodpeckers flew by. A good omen?

Probably the coldest day yet but no wind so quite manageable. A beautiful sunrise so painted very quickly to capture it. Finished by 10.am and on the way back to the car one of the woodpeckers flew past again. The rain cloud passed behind me and didn’t affect me here. Home now for a late breakfast and a shower to warm up.
